“I hate brownies,” said no one ever.
Who could not like a chocolatey, cakey square with a warm, slightly gooey center? Especially with a generous scoop of ice cream on top? Voldemort, probably. And Sauron. The Emperor wouldn’t touch it, I’m sure.
The one thing I do hate about brownies is the slicing part. Usually a mess with unruly edges and all the good stuff stuck to the knife.
Well, no more of that. I saw this in a magazine while at the dentist’s office, and had to have one. It does exactly what it says. The Chicago Metallic Slice Solutions Brownie Pan is just awesome—it’s cheap, less than $20; it’s 9″x13″, so you get double the goodness; it’s non-stick and easy to clean; it stores easily and even has a lid for transporting the pan.
The pan’s description says it will also work for cornbread, lemon bars and rice krispie treats. No more messy edges! And I’d bet if I used a regular cake recipe, I could use this pan and have 18 little cakes I could frost individually—perfect for a kid’s party.
